Mental health is important for everyone, but it can be especially challenging for LGBTQ+ individuals, and hotorically gay men. According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, LGBTQ+ people are more likely to experience mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. It’s important for gay men to prioritize their mental health and seek help if they need it.

The Power of Building Strong Gay Male Friendships

For many gay men, finding and cultivating close friendships with other members of the LGBTQ+ community can be a source of support, belonging, and acceptance. It can be a place to be completely ourselves, to share our thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment or discrimination. And let’s be real, it’s also an excuse to have even more fabulous dinner and dance parties!

Finding Joy and Fulfillment as a Gay Man in My 40s

As a gay man in my 40s, I’ve learned a thing or two about finding joy and fulfillment. It’s not always easy, especially given the various challenges and obstacles that can come with being part of the LGBTQ+ community. But despite these challenges, I’ve found that it is possible to find joy and fulfillment, and I’d like to share some of the things that have worked for me.
